Therapeutic exercise

Session with my therapist this morning. The fury I feel towards the feckless charlatan in charge is real and is giving me headaches. With no outlet, it’s been draining me.

I realised as we were talking that I have a right to be furious, both on behalf of others, and for myself.

I also realised that a writing exercise would help here. So I set a five minute timer and freewrote a “letter” to our prime minister.

Surprisingly, it’s only about 1% profanity

I highly recommend this as a way of blowing off steam. Set a 5minute timer, grab a pen and paper and start “Dear Boris,” then Just. Let. Rip.
